As a true nonprofit organization with oversight by several state-level and federal-level government agencies, Harlan County Community Action Agency operate on federal and state funding combined with philanthropic contributions from organizations and people like you.
Every donation—large or small—goes directly toward expanding current and building new programs throughout Harlan County to reach more people in need. We have no other purpose than serving our community.

Harlan County Community Action Agency, Inc. are a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Your contribution may be tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law. No goods or services were provided in exchange for your generous financial donation.
Your donation will go toward one of our sponsored or established programs/projects that does not receive federal or state fundings. If you wish to donate to a particular program/project, please specify in the comment box; otherwise, donations will be used based on our reasonable determination as to which programs/projects will benefit our community the most. For example, your donations may go to: CSBG scholarships; Summer Feeding for kids during the summers when school is not in session; air conditioners and fans during hot summers; supplies and materials for Repair Affair and faith-based ministries volunteer initiative; Christmas Drive for low-income kids for receiving gifts; clothing or food bank items.
